This is a very complex plot with multiple threads that Ramsay skillfully weaves until it all comes together in a dramatic ending. This fourth novel in the series introduces some new characters that are well developed and we learn a little more about the characters from the previous books. The subject matter is rather dark and disturbing but necessary to the storyline. Strongly suggest reading books 1-3 first.
